The conclusion to the Xenosaga trilogy.
Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra continues the science-fiction J-RPG series, Xenosaga, bringing forth stunning CG animation on the PlayStation 2 platform, introducing a massive universe full of conflict and compelling storytelling that was set to make this "space drama" a fierce competitor to Square-Enix's FINAL FANTASY franchise.
Set thousands of years in the future, where planet Earth is all but gone — its remains referred to as "Lost Jerusalem" — it's humankind versus alien beings known as the Gnosis — hostile alien forces from a dimension not of our own that threaten to wipe out mankind.
To combat the Gnosis threat, the First R&D Division of Vector Industries have developed a prototype Gnosis-eradicating android known as KOS-MOS, with Shion Uzuki as the chief engineer of the project.
However, not all went as planned, as after the events of Der Wille zur Macht and Jenseits von Gut und Böse, Shion Uzuki has since left Vector, and it would seem there are more questions posed than answers revealed as Shion seeks to uncover the truth about her father's involvement in the Miltian Conflict. |
